When a move to SORA is relevant
PDRA01 remains available for eligible operations. A UK SORA-based application can provide a route to bespoke authorisation when your intended operation falls outside its conditions.
Moving to SORA is driven by your operational requirements, rather than an automatic requirement for every PDRA01 holder.

Understanding the SAIL Mark
A SAIL Mark Certificate concerns a UAS meeting specified UK SORA technical requirements. It does not replace an operator’s Operational Authorisation.
Formal assessment is undertaken by a Recognised Assessment Entity for Flightworthiness (RAE(F)), with certification issued by the CAA. Avilos’s role is consultancy and evidence preparation.
